CITY'S MUSIC LOVERS
AT CHORAL FESTIVAL

Spring festival this evening, and fol
lowing the usual custom it held the
stage itself in the afternoon. As was
expected, the concert was all and a
little more than was promised. The
program began at 3 o'clock and stand
ing room was pretty nearly at a prem
ium.
Modest Altschuler, conductor, was
at his best was liberal with en
cores. The soloists were particularly
well received while the famous quar
tet from "Rigoletto" was especially
' fine.
To-night's concert, when the Choral
. jciety sings Handel's oratorio "Sam
eon," will begin promptly at 8.16. The

In a brief order handed down yes
terday afternoon the Dauphin coun
ty court directed that the Pittsburgh
Nail and Wire Company be ousted of
its charter privileges and dissolved
because it hasn't been fullfllllng its
franchise requirements.
