The samß careful attention in dotail which has always characterized his efforts in arranging for an exhibi tion of motor vehicles is evident in the plans now being perfected. Practical ly all of the space has been allotted with the Exception of a few feet, but If necessary the dealers will sacrillce a share of their space to oblige possible applicants. The different body designs of the various makes of cars to be shown and the large numbers of trucks that should be a feature of a show in a city the sine of Harrisburg will make an attractive and interesting display. The program and decorative scheme has not as yet been completed, but gives promise of being equal to that of any preceding show. Stutz Agency Here With Waldron Motor Car Co. The well-known Stutz mqtor cars are represented in this city by the Waldron Motor Car Company with dis play rooms in tin' Masonic Temple building. This car became famous on the Indianapolis road track In a day, and in speaking of its record, R. M. Waldron, Jr., said: "With the closing of the past year a compilation of American cars that have j raced over roads throughout the coun-' try for the past ten years, was made by numerous experts. Beginning its ra< * ing career in 1911. the Stutz has achiev ed the best record in road races for American built cars. "Since then the Stutz has scored nine firsts, six seconds, seven thirds, two fourths, one fifth, and one fifteenth, making a total of twentv-six places and brine unplaced but six times. Mr. Waldron lias received his demon strator, and as distributor for this ter ritory is in daily touch with the pros pective buyers. New Reo Six Is Expected to Arrive Here Wednesday George G. MeFarland, of the Har risburg Automobile Company, lias re ceived assurance that the new Reo Six will be here Wednesday. This cat has been heralded as "The Six of Sixty Superiorities" and is a new model lust being introduced this season by one of the oldest and most conservative ma kers of motor cars. Great interest centers in this car considering that the company heretofore has only made fours, Reo the Fifth being a car known all over the world as the product of R. E. Olds, the famous automobile de signer and manufacturer. ' Ford Sales Average More Than One a Day Locally P. Driscoll, manager of the Ford Sales Company, reports an average of more than one ear each day sold since J the recent tire that destroyed their building. This is a remarkable aver age and speaks well for the popular ity of the car. This season the Ford ' will spring another surprise that will l prove to be popular. This will be in j the nature of a streamline design on ! the 1915 models, the newest' of these! are expected within a week. National Guard Inspection to Be Held Soon General orders announcing the dates j and arrangements for the annual siii ing inspection of the National Guard of Pennsylvania will be issued from the Adjutant General's Department in I the next twenty-four hours. The in- ! speetlon will be made by the regular j inspectors of the Guard and will be i separate from the inspections made of! the organized militia by the officers ot j the regular army. The inspections will begin on March i !» and run until May 1!) and no ratings will be made lor publication after the! inspection. Announcement is made: that organizations which are not nj> to I the standard will be reported as in-,' efficient to the office of the Adjutant General and officers who are inefficient will be reported'to commanders. This is in line with the warning issued last fall, and us changes in the Guard are contemplated in the code, companies which fail are likely to be dropped. Jr. How, district salesmanager for the Haynes Automobile Company or Kokomo, Indiana, was in the city this week on business with the local repre sentatives, Roberts anil Hoin, at the salesroom in Central Garage. Mr. How, who is associated with the fac tory, expressed himself in optimistic terms regarding the outlook for the automobile season. The Haynes fac tory is running full capacity in order to keep pace with the increasing de mand and the capacity of the plan has been enlarged to prepare for a greater rush to come. The Haynes car is one of the oldest in the market. In fact a pioneer whose first model beside the new six-cylinder engine Is a feature of the display at the Smithsonian insti tute in Washington.
