Great enthusiasm is being mani
fested by the Christian Endeavor so
cieties of the city and county in the
biff rally to be held in the Bethlehem
| Lutheran Church, Green and Cumber
land streets, to-morrow evening'.
Many societies will be represented bv
large delegations. A. C. Dean, presi
dent Ilarrisburg Christian Endeavor
union, will preside and the Rev. H. B.
Markward, pastor Bethlehem Luther
an Church, will conduct the devotional
exercises. The Rev. Dr. F. E. Clark,
of Boston, will speak on "The Full
Significance of Christian Endeavor
week."
A banquet will be held at the Harris
Street United Evangelical Church.
Harris and Susquehanna streets, at 6
o'clock to-morrow evening. A number
of prominent livewire workers will
be present and many societies will be
represented by two or more delegates.
Tickets may be had on application to
Benjamin Whitman, chairman banquet
committee.

will be the subject of a patriotic ser

Men's Christian Association, Sunday
afternoon at 3.30 o'clock, will be ad
dressed by the Rev. John M. Warden,
pastor of Bethany Presbyterian
Church. For many years Mr. Warden
devoted all his time to evangelistic
work, and his address Sunday will be
along that line.
The musical attraction will be the
well-known Association quartet. The
praise services will be .under the direc
tion of the association chorister, W. H.
Kautz. Doors will open at 3 o'clock.
