Health Makes Some New Regu
lations For State
Official regulations have just been
I promulgated by the advisory board of
■ the State Department of Health
whereby all persons employed as
cooks, waitresses, chambermaids,
kitchen or other help in public eating
places in Pennsylvania who are found
to be suffering from communicable
diseases must be excluded from work
, and also arranged for reporting of a
number of occupational diseases.
The regulation regarding help in
eating places will be put into force im
mediately and inspections will begrin.
The board also passed a rule prohi
biting the exposure on the sidewalk
or pavement of vegetables or articles
of food eaten uncooked unless they
arc properly screened and placed at
least two feet above the sidewalk.
