bill died this morning: at the homo of
her daughter, Alice, 1412 Wallace
street, after a lingering illness or
paralysis, aged 72 years. She is sur
vived by her daughter, Alice, and one
son, Frank. J. J. Pilkey, of Harris
burg, is a brother. „ ~ ,
The body will be taken to Carlisle on
Tuesday morning by T. M. Mauk & Son,
where the services will be held and
burial will be made. Friends desiring
to view the body can do so on Monday

LESS COTTON IS CONSUMED

during the first three months of the
cotton year than they did in the same
period last year; exports during Octo
ber were less than one-third of what
