moving on down Front street with the

celebration by the Phllokosmlan Lit
erary Society of Lebanon Valley Col
lege will be held to-morrow evening
at a place which is not known until
the witches, who lead the procession,
take the students to the place. The
procession often is compelled to fol
low through the woods back of the
town, pass through the graveyards and
old houses which have not been occu
pied for many years. When the fol
lowers arrive at their destination
games appropriate to the occasion are
played. Pumpkin pies, cider, dough
nuts and apples are then served the
hungry guests.

Well-known Minister Will Go
to Enhaut Church of God

Dillsburg, Pa., Oct. 30.—0n Sunday
morning the Rev. Charles Helkes will
preach his farewell sermon in the An
dersontown Church of God and in tha
evening in the Mount Pleasant church.
The Rev. Mr. Heikes has accepted the
unanimous call from the Church of
God at Enhaut and will take up hia
work at that place on November 8.
The Rev. Mr. Heikes had been pastor
of the Mount Pleasant, Andersontown,
Llsburn and Fairview Bethel charge
for six years and had the unanimous
vote of all churches of the charge t<»
return again this year. During the six
years the Rev. Mr. Heikes built tho
handsome new church at Mount Pleas
ant at a cost of $14,300, all of Which is
paid; extensively improved and beauti
fled the Andersontown church and
the Fairview Bethel Church and im
proved the parsonage, lie also mar
ried 75 couples and officiated at 118
funerals.
