VALESKA SUHATTCOMING
"The Bride Shop," with its riot of
gowns, girls, song and fun, continues
to attract at the Orpheum. This little
musical comedy Is the prettiest and
most elaborate in variety, and in turn
it is supported by a galaxy of Keith
artists that are certainly worth seeing.
For next week the management Is
announcing the local vaudeville appear
ance of Valeska Suratt. of musical com
j edy fame, who promises a sensation
I and a real surprise In her magnificent
j productlbn called "Black Crepe and
I Diamonds." In bringing Miss Suratt
| to the Orpheum. where popular prices
will remain in vogue during her en
gagement, the management declares
th ey have taken a quite daring finan
cial plunge. For Miss Suratt is a posl-
I tive metropolitan headllner, whose
name has flamed in Broadway In musl-
I cal comedy as much as It has in vaude
ville The setting of her new act Is an
i exact replica of the boudoir of her own
1 Louis XV apartment, located a stone's
i throw from Sherry's and Delmonlco's,
; and much of the furnishings of the
same are utilized In the stage nlcture.
i Five perfect confections by Collot, of
Paris .are worn by Miss Suratt, as are
j also her famous $30,000 diamond and
; pearl dog collar and her SIO,OOO chln
; chilla fur coat. Were Miss Suratt the
j lono attraction at the Orpheum next
j week, she would be well worth the time
and price, for she has appeared in many
productions where the prices were four
I and five times those In vogue at the Or
t pheum.—Advertisement.
