the testimony was submitted by G. H.

Today Marks End of First
Week; Reservoir Youngsters
Go Home
Fonfl mammas and papas who may
have been a trifle dubious as to
whether their small daughters who
camp at McCormick's Island would
get enough to eat might glance at this
list of supplies: 25 pounds sugar; 10
pounds meat for soup, 3 pounds dried
peaches, 36 loaves of bread, 12 pounds
puffed rice, 12 cases shredded wheat,
j 12 cans corn, 12 cans salmon, hag salt,
H pounds butter, 1 pound chocolate,
quart vanilla, bushel potatoes, basket
beans, half-pound pepper, two cab
bages, 12 cans peas, 10 boxes raspber
ries.
Food for a N. G. P. company's hike?
Supplies for "Romper Day"? Stock
of produce for a country store? No,
all this is merely one day's order of
supplies for the girls' camp on Mc-
Cormick's Island. Which is the reason
the thirty or more pretty misses of
from 11 to 16 years are not in much
danger of going hungry.
To date, incidentally It may be
mentioned, that three whole bunches
of bananas have been disposed of by
the youthful campers.
To-day concludes the first week
of camp for the season of 1914 and to-|
i morrow the Reservoir girls break j
camp, to be followed by the campers!
[ from the Twelfth, Harris and Calder!
buildings.
These be mighty busy days in camp j
and days, by the way, that will go,
down in pictorial history. An enter
prising "movie" camera man rowed]
over to McCormick's one day last week i
and placed the activities of the young
sters in moving picture history for al
ways and always.
Regular schedules of work and play
have been arranged and the camp day
is a very, very full twenty-four hours.
