MORE CHURCHES JOIN 111 BIG FALL REVIVAL PROJECT Several Thousand Hazletonians Expected to Make Trip to Harrisburg More churches to join in the move ment; committees busily at work; a plan for a gigantic excursion here when Stough is well under way—such are the present developments in the Stough evangelistic project. The Rev. Edwin E. Curtis, the sec retary of the co-operating ministerium, has sent out invitations to every church not now participating in the Stough campaign and as a result sev eral inquiries have been received which would indicate that a number of churches will join with those now enlisted in the campaign. Up to to day one church, the United Evangelical Church of Rutherford Heights, the Rev. P. K. Bergman, pastor, has ac cepted the invitation and will be added to the list of co-operating churches. Plans are afoot in Hazleton for a visit to this place to greet the evan gelist, who has concluded a campaign in that city. It is planned to start a Harrisburg-trip fund, putting away small amounts, so that the total shall reach the sum required to make the trip." It is believed that between 2,500 and 3,000 persons will be interested enough to make the journey here. In addition it is the expectation of the projectors of the excursion to take on parties at Mount Carmel, Berwick and other places that Stough has been in.
