Roger Eppley Rescued From Drowning at Marysville Marysville, Pa., June 12.—Roger Eppley, 18 years old, had a narrow escape from death by drowning In the Susquehanna river yesterday. Ep pley, with several companions were swimming at the "sand bar" a little below the old bridge piers, above town. The water is very deep at this place, ranging from fifteen to thirty feet. Shortly after Eppley had gone into the water, he was seized with cramps i and called for aid. He was rescued by Thurston Dorman and Burkey Rit ting, two members of tt~ i Marysville Junior baseball team.
