PRICES WORK HIGHER
THROUGHOUT MORNING
Confident Buying of Seasoned Dividend Payers Inspired
Bullish Interests; Bonds Steady
By Associated Press
New York, June 12. Prices work
ed higher, slowly through the morning.
Although the average advance was
small, the market revealed a more de
cided upward tendency all through the
list than for several days. Confident
buying of seasoned dividend payers in
spired bullish interests in other quar
ters, especially among low-priced
shares, which offer speculative possi
bilities. The gold export movement
continued with the engagement of $2,-
000,000 more coin, and exchange rates
continued to climb. Demand sterling
touched a new high water mark at
4.8910. •
