Reading Alone Held Fairly Steady Despite Weakness in Le
high Valley; Bonds Easy
By Associated Press
New York, May 29. Although there
was no pressure to sell, stock moved
toward a lower level as the session ad

Federal Government's attitude In the
matter of anti-trust legislation and
railroad investigations was regarded as
somewhat disconcerting.
St. Paul softened In connection with
its new financing and New Haven's
weakness came from obvious causes as
did also that of Baltimore and Ohio and
New York Central. Of oil the better
known Issues Reading alone held fairly
steady, despite weakness in Lehigh Val
ley. More gold for Europe was under
negotiation.
