STRUCK UY AUTO TRUCK
While skating down Front street on
roler skates, yesterday afternoon, John
8. Cleckner, aged 12 years, of 808 South
i Second street, was struck by an auto
| mobile truck and knocked down.
The lad was taken to the Harrisburg
j Hospital and after an examination It
was,found that he was suffering with
i concussion of the brain.

Franklin High Students
Stop Here on Big Trip
Pupils from the Franklin High
School, Franklin, Pa., numbering fifty
four, accompanied by six members of
the High School factulty, will come to
Harrisburg to-night for a two days'
visit.
The students are now In Washing
ton, D. C. They will reach Harrisbrug
at 10:26 o'clock to-night. Accommoda
tions have been securod at the Bolton.
Early to-morrow morning the puplla
will go to Gettysburg and will be taken
over the battlefield by a guide and lec
turer. The party will return to Har
rlsburg In the evening. On Saturday
morning the Franklin student* will
visit the Capitol and will call on Gov
ernor John K. Toner. They will leav«
for h ime Saturday night The students
are t avciing in n pedal car, and their
comf irt Is being looked after by the
Pennsylvania Railroad passenger de
partment representatives. While In th«
city A. E. Buchanan, division passen
ger agent of the Pennsylvania Rail
road, and his corps of assistants will
look after the visitors.
