No doubt you will be deeply gratified to learn
the good condition in which I discovered my
book, policy of insurance, certificates of stuck,
and other viduable documents, when on Fri
day lust• r opened the Safe made by your
firm.
With my knowledge of its great exposure
both to the intensity of the beat Iron, so hot a
firj, ns that which destroyed the Artisan build
ing, 114 also from the force of the fall from its
former elevated Position in the third story, I
could entertain but slander hopes prior to its
interior inspection. that the contents Which I
once so highly prized would ever be of any ser
vice-to me hut ns these fears are now happily
removed, Iliad it . only due
,to say to you, that I
can henceforth recommend the use of your

CATHARTIC PILLS
tirKRATE by their powerful inilttence on the
/ internal riflemen to purify the blood nod gam
' late it into healthy action. They remove the
obstreetions of the stomach, bowels, firer, end other
organs of the body, and, by restoring their inystnlar
seder) to health, correct, wherever they exist, Inch
derangements as are the first causes of disease..
An estensive trial of their virtues, by Professors..
Physicians, and Patients, has shmin cures of deu
teron. diseases almost beyond belief, were they not
aultstentiated by persons of such exalted position
end diameter as to forbid the suspicion of untruth.
Their certificates gee publirhed_in my American
Almanac, which the Agerite - below named are
pleased to furnish free to all inquiring.
Annexed we give Directions for their nee in the.
complaints whick they hare been found to cure.
Foe —Take one or two Pills, or
each quantity as to gently more the berrehr toe
tivenoie is frequently the aggravating cause of
Prize, and the cure of one complaint is the CRT&
of bo th. No person can feel well while under a
costive habit of body. Hence it should be, as it
can be, promptly relieved.
Pon DYISTRPRIA, which is sometimes the canoe
of natireness, and always uncomforteltle, take mild.
doses from one to four io at itn eta to the stomach
and liver into healthy action. They will do it, and
the heartburn, bodybiern, and son/born of dyspepsia
will rapidly disappear. When it has gone, don't
forget what cured yen.
Fora FOUL STOKACH, nr Mevuiid Inaction of the
BOICAI, which produces general depression of the
spirits and bad health, take from four to eight Pills
at first, and steelier doses afterwards, with activity
and strength is restored to the system.
Foe NRUTOLIINERR, SICK lIEADACeR,NARsitA.
Pain in Me Stomach, Baek, or Side, take from four
to eight Oils on going to bed. If they do not oper
ate sufficiently, take more the next day until they
do. These complaints will be swept out from the
system. Don't wear these and their kindred dil
eHers because your stomach is foul.
Fon SCROTVLA, EUTRIPRLAR, and all Diseases
of the Skin, take the•l'ills freely and frequently, to.
keep the bowels open. The ernittions will gener
ally soon begin to diminish and disappear_ Many
dreadful ulcers and sores have been healed op by
the purging and purifying effect of these Pills, and
some disgusting diseases which seemed to entente
the whole system have completely yielded to their
influence, fearing the sufferer in perfect health.
Patients! your duty to society forbids that you
should parade yourself around the world etivered
with pimples, blotches, ulcers, sores, and all or any
of the unclean diseases of the skin, becalms your
system wants cleansing.
To FLTRIFT THE BtooD, they are the best medi
cine ever discovered. They should be taken freely
and frequently. and the impurities which sow the
seeds of incurable diseases will be swept not of the
system like chaff before the wind. By this property
they do As notch good in preventing sickness us by
the remarkable cures which they are nicking every
where.
LITEA COMPLAINT, JAI:NI/ICH, and nil Bilious
Affections, arise from some derattgernent— either
torpidity, congestion, or obstructions of the [Ayer_
Torpidity and congestion vitiate the bile and render
It unfit for digestion. This is diminution to the.
health, and the constitution in frequently under
mined by no other cause. Indigestion is the !vino
tom. Obstruction of the duet which emptien the
bile into the stomach causes the bile to overflow
into the blood. This produces Jaundice, with a
long and dangerous train of evils. Costiveness, or
alternately costiveness and diarrlura, prevails..
Feverish symptoms, languor, low spirits, weariness,
restlessness, and melancholy, with sometimes in
ability to sleep, and sometimes great drowsiness ;
sometimes, there is severe paM in the side ; the *kill
and the white of the eves become a greenish yellow;
the stomach acid; the bowels sore to the touch ;
the whole system inritablo, with a tendency to fever,
which may turn to bilious fever, bilious colic, lithium,
diarrhoea:dysentery, dle. A inerlinin dose of three
or knir Pills taken at night, followed by two or three
in the morning, and repeated a few days.will remove
the cause of all these;troublei. It is wicked to stiffer
such pains whea you can cure them for 2.5 cents.
