Important to Housekeepers !
THE IMPROVED DOVBLE OVEN
LIIVB.IICH'S PATENT
COOKING STOVE.
TWO SIZES are now constantly kept
for sale in Gettysburg, at ANDREW,
POLLEY'S Tin Shop, and in Littlestoton
at JOSEPH BARKER'S Tavern, They
are proven to be the best stove, now in
use, for cooking, baking, roasting, and
for tbarminga house, with lees wood than
any other stove, and are the heaviest in
the casting, for the size. of any now made.
They are warranted to bake well in both
ovens. Any person wanting these stores
delivered, by leaving word at either of the
above mentioned places, the froprietcir
will deliver tlipm at a short notice, as he
intends doing , the peddling principally
himself. He is confident that he can give
people better satisfaction than hired ped
lars. There are already upwards of SIX
HUNDRED of the Lauhach Stoves sold
in York, Adams, and Carroll counties,
within two years, but not so many of the
late improvements. The improvement is
in the middle flue, by which the lower
oven is much easier heated, and the holes
are larger on the tops, to put on larger
pots. We deem it unnecessary to say
more about them, but want people who'
are judges of cooking stoves to examine
thoroughly, sad we are confident that
they will find that they have advan
tages over any other stove now in
use, and according to the quality and
weight, than any that are offered to the
public. They are likewise kept for sale
at the Proprietor's Foundry, near Dille
burg, York county, Pa.
MICAH ARNOLD,
Proprietor of the Right for York, Adams, Carroll,

St City Prices.
No. 3, south Front street, Harrisburg, Pennsyra
pHE business heretofore carried on in
this establishment, will hereafter be
conducted as above. The encouragement
which has thus far been extended to the
enterprise of selling goods in Harrisburg
at City prices, leads to the indulgence of
the hope that it is looked upon favorably
by merchants and others in this section of
the State. As for the future,_ it is only
necessary to say that the arragement will
afford renewed facilities for the success of
the undertaking, in the co-operation of a
large importing house in Baltimore, which
will enable the undersigned to offer the
same advantages which could he offered
in the city. He therefore cordially invites
merchants and others to call and'examine
a very large stock, and satisfy themselves
of his entire ability to sell as he promises.
A lot of choice liquors in store at im
porters' terms.

filled, and goods despatched at City Prices.
