Rose, he had the misfortune to slip and fall hakt a a large vat, used for the; put pose of boiling blocks preparatory to cutting.— The blocks had just been removed from the vat containing a large quantity of boiling water.— He fell forward, scalding both hands and arms, all on one side, and one leg badly and the other partially. The scalds were so bad on his arms and lea, that most of the flesh came off with his garments, and his life was despaired of by both his physicians and friends. Dalley's Pain Extractor was procured as soon as possible (which was in about six boom) and applied, and which relieved him from ill pain, preventing inflammation and swelling, and in a few days commenced healing his sores. Them appeared a general improvement, an much so that in three weeks be was removed to his lath er", house, distance about one mile and a half.
