He has our thanks lor public documents. .Thc Dra-tt.- The draft has been pot off until the l5tb inst. So says reports from Washington. We have as yet seen no order for a draft, In this district or any other. There was no order issued lor a draft on the 5th as was so much talked about. The President's proclamation stated that the Slates had tilt thn 5th to make up their quotas by volunteering, and bounties would ie -paid op to that time. Since, a resolution has been offered in Congress to extend the time of paying the Government bounty. Volunteering is going on briskly. Large bounties are being paid in some places in connection' with the government bounty of 5400 to veteran soldiers on re-enli6tin. - Hon. George G Jackson, one of our ac tive and working members at Harrisborg, has oar thanks for the Auditor General's Report, besides other public documents, sent us since the commencement of the pession. EITHER MEN OR W03IEN ! NO HUMBUG, but an ENTIRELY NEW thing. Only three months in this country. No clap-trap operation to gull the public, but a genuine money-making thing! Read the Circular of instruction once only, and you will understand it perfectly. A Lady has just written to me that f-he is making as high as TWENTY DOLLARS SOME DAYS! giving instructions in this art. Thousands ot Soldiers are making money rapidly at it. It is a thing that takes better than anything ever ottered. You can make money with it home or abroad on steam boats or railroad can, and in the country or city. You will be pleased in pursuing it, not only because it will yield a handsome income, but also in conse buence of the general admiration which it elicits. It is pretty much all profit. A mere trifle is necessary to start with. There id scarcely one person oat of thousands who ever pays any attention to advertisements of this kind, thinking they are humbugs. Consequently those who do send for instructions will have a broad field to make money '.n. There is a class of persons in this worid who would think that because they have been humbuzged out of a dollar or so, that ever) thing that is advertised is a humbug. Consequently the trj no more. The person who suc ceeds is the one that keeps on trying until be hits something that pays him. This art cost me on thousand dollars, and 1 expert to make money out of it and 2 11 who purchase the art of me will do the same. One Dollar sent to wie will insure the prompt return of a card of instruction in the art. Tht money icVl be returned to those not satisfied Address WALTER T. TINSLEY, . No. 1 Park Place, New York. ( The Secretary t.f the Treasury has not yet given notice of an;', intention to with draw this popular Loan from Sale at Par, and until ten days notice is given, the undersigned, as "General Subscription Agent,'' will continue lo supply the public. The whole amount of the Loan author ized is Five Hundred M illions of Dollars. Nearly Four Hundred Millions have been already subscribed for and paid into the Treasury, mostly within the last seven mon hs. The large demand from abroad, and the rapidly increasing home demand tor use as' the basis lor circulation by Na tional Banking Associations now organiz ing in all parts of the country, will, in a very short period absorb the balance. Sales have lately ranged from ten to fif- i teeu millions weekly, frequency exceed ing three millions daily, and as it is well known tha' the Secretaiy of the Treasury has ample and unfailing resources in the Duties on Imports and denial Revenues, and in the issue of the Interest bearing Legal Tender Treasury Notes, it is almo?t a certainty that he will not find it neces saay, inf a long time to come, to seek a market for any oiher long or permanent Loans, The Interest and Principal of which are payable in Gold. Prudence and self interest must force the minds of those contemplating the for malion of National Banking Associations, as well as the minds of all who have idle money on their hands, to the prompt con clusion thai they t-bould lose n.o time in subscribing to this mot popular Loan. It will soon be beyond their reach, and advance to a handsome premium, as was the result with the ,:Seven Thirty" Loan, when it was all sold and could no longer be subscrided for at par. IT IS A SIX PER CENT LOAN, THE Interest and Principal payable in Coin, thus yiehling over Nine per cent, per an nnm al the present rate of premium on Coin. The Government requires all duties on Imports lo be paid in coin; ihnse duties have for a long lime past amounted to over a Quarter of a Million of Dollars daily, a sum nearly three limes greater than that required in the payment of the Interest on all the 5-20'& ami other perma nent Loans. So that it ie hoped that the surplus Coin in the Treasury, at no dis'ant day, will enable the Uui'ed States lr re sume specie payments upon all liabilities. The Loan is cal.ed 5 20 from ihe fact that whilst the Bonds may run for twenty y ears yet the Government has a right lo pay them off in Gold at par, at any time alter five, years. The Interest is paid half yearly, viz: on the first day ot November and May. Subscribers can have Coupon Bonds, which are payable to bearer, and are 30, S100, ?50O, and $1000; or Registered bonds of same denominations, and in addition, $5,000 and 810,000. For Banking purpo ses and for investments of Trust monies, the Registered bonds are preferable. These 5-20's cannot be taxed by States cities', towns, or counties, and the Govern meni tax ou tliem is only lj per cent., on the amonnl of income, when the income of the holder exceeds Six hundred dollars per annum; all other investments, such as income from Mortgages, Railroad Ssoek and Bonds, e c, must pay from three to five percent, lax on the income. Banks and Bankers throughout the coun try will continue lo dispose of the bonds; and all orders by mail, or otherwise, prom ptly attended to. The. inconvenience of a lew days' delay in the delivery of ihe Bonds is unavoida ble, the demand bein so grea'; but as in terest commences from the day of sub scriotion, no loss is occasioned, and every effert is being made tw diminish the delay.
