These Bilters for the cure of Weak Stom

and Enriching the Blood, are absolutely un
surpassed by any other remedy on earth.
To be assured of this, it is only neeessary
to make the trial. The Wine itself is of
a very superior quality, being about one
third stronger lhan other wine; warming
and invigorating the whole system from the
head to the feet. As these Bitters are tonic
and alternative in their character, so they
strengthen and invigorate the whole sys
tem ami give a fine tone and healthy action
to all its parts,by equalizing the circulation
removing obstructions, and producing a
general warmth. They are also excellent
for Di"eases and Weakness peculiar to FE

strengtheh and brace the system. No Lady,
who is subject to lassitude and fainine,
should be without them as they are revivi

As a Beverage, they are wholesome, in

a valuable remedy for persons adjured to
the use of excessive strong drink, and who

RAYMOND'S FAMILY
SEWING MACHINE!
PATENTED MARCH 9, 1858.
PRICE $10 BACH.
Jlf ESSRS. ZUPP1NGER & ROBBINS, of
Bloomsburg, having purchased the ex
clusive right of the above valuable Impro
ved Chear Patent Sewing Machine, for
ihe County of Columbia, will be happy lo
supply their friends with the article for the
aecommodalionof themselves and families.
The following are some of the superior
advantages ibis implement possesses, viz:
1. It sews from 400 to 600 light stitches
per minute.
2. Double thread Machines ate from Ihe
more complicated character of their mech
anism invariably managed and threaded
with more or less difficulty ; not so with
RAYMOND'S, a child can manage il in two
hours, and il is threaded easier tbaa a com
mon needle.
3. One of the most valuable features of
this Machine, is the smallness and the
compactness of its mechanism.
4. It can be attached to a board, (able or
sland, in operating order, and removed in
less than half a minute.
5. It greatly economizes Ihe thread, and
yet produces a seam, sufficiently strong for
any work for which it ia intended, a qual
ification not known to all kinds of Sewing
Machines.
6. No human hand is capable of produ
cing a seam so regular and systematic.
The seam is so strong if well done, that Pie
strongest material will tear before fie
seam will give way.
7. Among ihe array of Pa'ent Sewing
Machines, there aro none so cheap and
dorable as Raymond's Patent, but no Ma
chine is adapted to all kinds of work as
experience has proven. There are perhaps
none so realy useful, doing such a variety
of wore for the immediate use of the fam
ily circle, and at such a moderate price as
RAYMOND'S PATENT.
8. The operator can shape his seam just
as he pleases, waves, leaves and flowers,
etc., can be represented or imitated.
9. It is particularly adapted to all kinds
of stitchicg 6ueh as gentlemen's shirts,
bosoms, ristbands, collars, etc., and all
kinds of ladies' sewing, including silks,
lawns, delaines, calicoes, dusters, etc., ex
cepting for men'sheavy wear, this Machine
is rather too light of construction.
10. But we all admit, that the advantage
to .health, and principally to the vision or
eyesight, induced by Ihe use of Sewing
Machines, surpasses ioilnitely all oiher ad
vantages. , 1 1. This Machine fastens the seam al
ways itself, but if the operator wishes it
unfastened or open, there is a way for ii
loo, thus you can have it fastened or not,
as you please, which is, someiimes, espe
cially for beginners, a very favorable cir
cumstance. If Ihe seam is left unfastened,
you can draw it out in three seconds and
save the thread.
For sale byhe undersigned, at their re
spective residences, in Bloomsburg, who
will pui the Machine in operation and give
ill necessary instruction.

Dr. J. B. 8. Channing, of New York City, writes ; w I
most cheerfully comply with tbe request of your agent In
saying I have found your Sarsaparilla a most excellent
alterative in the numerous complaints for which we
employ such a remedy, but especially in Fr.malt Diseatt
of the Scrofulous diaihevis. I have enred many inveter
ate cases of Leucorrbcea by it, and some where the com
plaint was caused by ulceration of the uterus. The ulcer
ation itself was soon cored. Nothing within my knowl
edge equal it for these female derangement."
tdwsrd S. Marrow, of Newbury, Ala., writes, "A dan
gerous ovarian tumor on one of the females in my family,
which had defied all the remedies we could employ, has
at length been completely cured by your Extract of Sar
saparilla. Our physician thought nothing but extirpa
tion could afford relief, but bo advised the trial of your
Sarsaparilla as the last resort before cutting, and it
proved effectual. After taking your remedy eight weeks
no symptom of the disease remains."

. T)R. J. C. Avr.m Sir, I cheerfully comply witli the re-
Jnest of your agent, and report to you some of the effects
have realized with your Barraparilta.
I have cured with it, in my practice, most of the com
plaint for which it is recommended, and have found its
effects truly wonderful in the cure of Venereal and Mrr
eurial Ditente. One of my patients bad Syphilitic ulcers
In hi throat, which were consuming his palate and tbe
top of hi mouth. Your Sarsaparilla, steadily taken,
cured him in five weeks. Another waa attacked by sec
ondary symptoms in hi nose, and the ulceration had
saten away a considerable part of it, so that I believe tbe
disordnr would soon rMch bis brain and kill bim. Hut it
yielded to my administration of your Sarsaparilla; the
ulcers healed, and he is well again, not of course without
some disfiguration to his face. A woman who had been
treated for the same disorder by nhrrcury was suffering
from this poison in her bones. They had become so sen-
auive to lue wearner tnai on a a amp day she suffered ex
cruciating ain in her joints and bones. She, too, was
cured entirely by your Sarsaparilla In a few week. I
know from it formula, which your agent gave me, that
this Preparation from your laboratory must be a great
remedy ; consequently, these truly remarkable results
with It have not surprised me.
fraternally yours, O. V. LARIMER, M. D.

Da. J. C. Aieb: Sir, I have been afflicted with a pain
ful chroulc liheumatuM for a long time, whhfls baffled th
skill of physicians, and stuck to me in spite of all the
remedies I con 4.1 find, until I tried your Sarsaparilla. On
bottle cured me in two week, and restored my general
health so much that I am far better than be .re I was
attacked. I think it a wonderful medicine. J. IKKAM.
Jules T. Getchell, of St Louts, writes : H I have been
afflicted for years with an affection tf Die Ztrer, which
destroy ed my health. 1 tried every thing, and every thins;
tiled to relieve me ; and I have been a broken-down man
for some yean from no other cause than derangement of
Vie Liver. My beloved pastor, the Kev. lr. Kspy, advised
me to try your Sarsaparilla, because he said he knew you,
and any thing you made was worth trying. Iiy the bless
ing of God It has cured me, and has so purified my blood
as to make a new man of me. I feel young again. The
best that can be said of you ia not half good enough."

A great variety of case have been reported to u where
cures of these formidable complaint have resulted from
the use of this remedy, but onr space here will not admit
them. Some of them may be found in our American
Almanac, which the agents below named are pleased to
furnish gratis to all who call for them.
Dyspepsia, Heart Disease, Fits, Epilep
sy, Melancholy, Neuralgia.
Many remarkable cures of those affections have been
made by tbe alterative power of this medicine. It stimu
lates the vital functions into vigorous action, and thus
overcome disorder which would be npposed beyond its
reach. Such a remedy has long been required by the ne
cessities of the people, and we are confident that this will
do for them all that medicine can do.
