On Satcrdat last R. B. Rick-tts left this
place for Camp Curtin with t-iv. new re

up a vacancy existing in the Iron Guards,
caused from desertions snd some few not
being able to pass a critical examination
by ibe Mmy surgeon. The company we
understand ia fall, still lying in Camp Cur

orders for some time, but as yet have not
received their uniforms or muskets. The
boys ara all well and are in good spirits.
They speak well of their treatment, and ol

and from thence to Camp York. It waa said
that be was on duty so late as Friday last.
Once more we are admonished of the fact,
how uncertain is life." The deceased was
qnite a young man. Laving no parents liv

much caution cannot be taken by our vclan

effects of the bullet.
ThStti Capital Hotel This is the
name of a well regulated public house kept
by Mr. Henry .Omit, in Harrisburg. It is
a pleasant house to stop at everything
cozily arranged and in the best order.
No better entertainment can be bad in that
place, if there can, we Lava not s een it.
The Clerk at this house Chas. C. Cotter
