The new Depot at ibis place, is fast ap
proaching completion, under the directions

The County Commissioners were in ses
sion at thier ofrffb, on Moudtfy last, and
'drew the Jurors for our May term of Court.
They will be seen in this paper. '
On Monday last Sheriff Snyder had plac
ed in bis charge a prisoner by the name of
Dixiel Baker, of Beaver lownship, Col
umbia county.

election of Hemlock township, a mistake
occurred in the name of one of Vh School
Directors as well as one ot the assistant As
sessors. The School Directors are Reuben
Cogiirt and Hugh A. Hartman ; Assistant
Assessors T. J. Vanderslice and Hugh D.
McSride.
