BAD LEGS, BAD BREATS, SORES
AND ULCERS.
" All description of sores' are remediable
by the proper and diligent use of this ines
timable preparation. To attmpt to cure
bad legs by plasierine the edges of the
woond toc'her is a folly; for should the
skin nnite, a bogey diseased dond'nion re
mains underneath lo break out with tenfold
fury in a few days. The only rationanl and
oucressfnl treatment, as indicated by nature,
is to reduce the influma. ion in and about
the wound and tc soothe the neiahboring
parts by robbing in plenty of the Ointment
as salt is forced into meat..
DIPTHERIA, ULCERATED SORE
THROAT, AND SCARLET AND
OTHER FEVERS. , y
Any of the above diseases may be cured
bv well robbns the Ointment three times
a day into the i hertr throat and neck of the
patient; it will soon penetrate, and give
immediate relief. Medicine taken by the
mouth must operate upon the whole sys
tern ere its influence can be felt in any lo
oal part, whereas ttie umimeni vviii do its
work at once. . Whoever tries the unguent
in the above manner ol the disease named,
ot anv similar dioorders afiecimg the chest
and throat, will find themselves rel ieved as
by a charm. -
PILES, FISTULAS. STRICTURES.
The above class of complaints will be
removed by nightly fomenting the part
wi;h warm waterj and then by most effect
ually rubbing in tha Ointment. Persons
suffering Iroin thee direful complaints
should lose not a moment in arrestins their
progress. It should be understood that it
is not sufficient merely to smear the Oint
ment on the affected parts, but it must be
well rubbed in for some considerable time
two or three times a day, that it may be
taken into the system, whence it will re
move any hidden sore or wounds effect
ually as though palpable to the eye. There
again bread snd water poultices, after rub
bing in of the Ointment, will do great ser
vice. This is the only sure treatment for
females, cases of cancer in the stomach, or
where there may be a general bearing
down.

AND ULCERS.

Although the above complaints differ
widely in their origin and nature, yet they
all require local treatment. Many of the
worst cases, of soch diseases, will yield in
a comparatively short space of time when
this Ointment is diligently robbed into (he

ways itself, but if the operator wishes it
