AN aperient and Stomachic preparation'
ol IRON purified of Oxygen and Carbon br
combustion in Hydrogen. Sanctioned by'
the highest Medical Authorities, Loth in
Europe and the United States, and prescri
bed in their practice. .
The experience of thousands daily prove
that no preparation of Iron can he compared
with it. Impurities of the blood, depression
of vital energy, pale and otherwise viukly
complexions indicate its necessity in almost
every conceivable case.
Innoxious in all malad;es irr which it has"
proved absolutely curative in each ef lh
following complaints, viz:
In Debility, Nervor.s Affections, Eman
ation, Dyspepsia, Consumption, DiarrhcrJa,
Dysentery, Incipient Consumption, Scrota'
ou Tuberculosis, Silt Rheum, Mismert
struation, Wnite, Chlorosis, Liver Com
plaints, Chronic Headaches, Rheumatism,
In'termitleDl Fever, Pimples on the Face,
&c,
In cases of General Debility, whether tha
result of acute disease, or of the continued
diminution of nervous and muscular energy
fiom chronic complaints, one irial of ibis
restorative has proved successful to an ex
tent which no description nor written attes
tation would render credible. Invalids o
long bed-ridden as to have become forgot
ten m their own neighborhoods, have sud
denly re-appeared in the busy world a if
justice returned from protracted travel in a
distant land. Some very signal instances
of this kind are attested of female Sufferers,
emaciated victims of apparent mararaos,
sanguineous exhanstion, critical changes,
and thai complication of nervoui and dys
peptic aversion to air and exercise for
which the physinan has no name.
In Nervous Affections of all kinds, and
for reasons familiar lo medical men, the
operation of this prepara'ion of iron roast
necessarily be salutary, for, unlike th old
oxides, ii i vigorously tonic, without beni
exciting ad overheating; and gentlv, reg
ularly aperient, even in ihe most obstinate
caBes of co-iivene9 without ever being a
girir puratite, oriodicting a disagreeable
sensation.
h is this latter propery, among others,
which makes i: so remarkably ehVctoal and
permanent a remedy for Piles, upon which
it also appears to exert a distinct and speci
fic action, by dispersing the local tendency
which torms them.
In Dyspepsia, innumerable a are It
canes, a single tox of the-e Chalybeate
Pills l.as often sufficed for he most habi!n1
cases, including the attendent Costivenesa.
In unchecked Diarrhtea, even when ad
vanced lo Dysentery, confirmed, ernancia
ling, and apparently malignant, the effects
have been equally decisive and astonishing.
In the local pains, lo-s of flesh and
stret g'h, debilitating rough, and remittent
hectic, which generally indicate Incipient
Consumption, this remedy has al'ayed the
alarm of friends and physicians, iu several
very gratifying and i it-resting instances.
In bcroluloti Tuberculosis, this meiiiral
led iron has had for more than the goo)
effect of the most cautiously balanced pre
parations of iodine, without any of their
well known liaMii'ieg.
The attention, of -femal-" cannot be too
confidently invited to this remety and re
storation, in the cases peculiarly affecting
piem.
In Rheumatism, both chronic and inflam
matory in the latter, however, more deci
dedly ii has been invariably well reported
both a alleviating pain and reducing the
swelling and stiffness of the joints aod
muscles.
In Intermittent Fever it must necessarily
be a great remedy and energetic restorative
and U9 progress in the new settlements of
the West, will probably be one of high re
nown and usefulness.
No remedy has ever been discovered in
e whole history of medicine, which exena
such prompt, happy, and fully restorative
effects. Gooi appetite, complete digestion,
rapid acquisition ol strength, wilh an unu
ual di-pnsitioti lor active and cheerful ex-
