The experience of thousands daily proves
that no preparation of Iron can be compared
with it. Impurities of the blood, depresiori
of vi'.al energy, pale and otherwise n'ckly
complexions indicate its necessity in almost
every conceivable case.
Innoxious in all maladies in which it has
proved absolutely curative in each of the
following complaints, viz:
In Debility, Nervous Affections, rtfac'i
ation, Dyspepsia, Consumption. Diarrha'a
Dysentery, Incipient Consumption, Sercftu
lom Tuberculosis, bait Rheum, M ism en
struation, Whites, Chlorosis, Liver Com
plaints, Chronic Headaches, Rheumatism,
Intermittent Fevers, Pimples on ihe Face,
In cases of General Debility, whether the
result of acute di-ease, or of the continued
diminution of nervous and mu-oular erntrgy
fiom chronic complaints, one (rial of this
restorative has pioved successful io an ax
tent which no description nor written attes
tation would render credible. Invalid so
long bed-ridden as to have become forgot
ten in their own neighborhoods, have sud
denly re-appeared in the busy world as if
justice returned from protracted travel in a
distant land. Some very signal instances
of this kind are attested of female Sufferers,
emaciated victims of apparent marasmus,
sanguineous exh.instion, critical changes,
and that complication of nervous and dys
peptic aversion to air and exercise lor
which the pdysirian has no name.
In Nervous Affections of all kinds, and
for reasons familiar to medical men, the
operation of this prepara'ion of iron must
necessarily be salutary, for, ur like the old
oxides, it is vigorously tonic, without being
exciting and overheating; and gently, reg
ularly aperient, even in ihe most ob-tinate
cases of coiiiveness without ever being a
gastric purg.alie, or indicting a disagreeable
eensation.
It is this latter proper y, among others,
which makes it so remarkaMy ehecioalanj
permanent a remedy for Piles, upon which
it also appears to exert a distinct and speci
fic action, by dispersing the local tendency
which forms them.
In Dspepsia, innumerable a are its
caues, a single tnx of the-e Chalybeate
Piils has often sufficed for the most habitual
cases, including the atteudent Cosiiveness.
In unchecked Dianhcct, even when ad
vanced to Dysentery, confirmed, emancia
ling, and apparently malignant, the effects
have been equally decisive and astonishing.
In the local pain, loss of flesh and
strength, debilitating cough, and remittent
hectic, which generally indicate Incipient
Consumption, this remedy has allayed the
alarm of friends and physicians, in several
very granlying and iiteretitig msiances.
In Scrofulous Tuberculoid, this mediral
ted iron ha had for more than the good
effect of the most cautiously balanced pre-
; parations ol iodine, without any ol their
all L nnu-
well known liabilities.
The attention of femal-s cannot be too
confidently invited to this reme-'y and re
storation, in the case peculiarly affecting
t'lern.
In Rheumatism, both chronic and inflam
matory in the latter, however, more deci
dedly it has been invariably well reported
bo;h as alleviating pain and reducing the
swelling and stiffness ol the joints and
muscles.
lo Intermittent Fever it must necessarily
be a great remedy and energe'ic restorative
and it progress in the new settlements of
ihe West, will probably be one of hign re
nown and usefulness.
No remedy has ever be-n discovered irj
the whole history of medicine, which exens
such prompt, happy, and fully restorative
effects. Good appetite, complete digestion,
rapid acquisition ol strength, with an unus
ual disposition lor active and cheerful ex
ercise, immediately follow its us.
Put up in neat flat metal botes containing
50 pdls, price 50 cents per box ; lor sale by
druggist and dealer. Will be sent tree to
any address on receipt ot me price, ah
letters, orders, etc., should be addreed to
