We find in Ihe Press, December 4th, the following: "All our Safes are war ranted to sive perfect satisfaction, or the money will be returned. FARREL. HERRING & CO." We, EVANS & WATSON, would ask all parlies having Farrel, Herring & Co's Patent Champion Safes, to take advantage of the above offer, and return them and get their money, as they will find that, in a few years, the Composition with which the Safes are filled (a large portion being oil of vitriol) will eat out all the iron. A speci men ol Iheir Champion Safes may be seen in front of our siore, which is eaten full of boles now. EVANS & WATSON, iNo. 26 South FOURTH Street. fFom The Press of the 4'h vtV. Sanctioned by ihe highest Medim! Amhurilie. loth in Europt ami the United State, and prercn bed in their practice. The experience of thousands daily prove that no preparation of Iron can be compared with it. Impurities of the blooj depression of vi'.al enemy, pale a.-id otherwise sieklyr complexions indicate its necessity iu almost every conceivable case. Innoxious in all maladies in which" il ha proved absolutely curative in eeeh of the lollowing complaints, viz: In Debility, Nervous Affections, Emaci ation, Dyspepsia, Consumption, Diarrhoea Dysentery, incipient Consumption, Scroti lous Tuberculosis, Salt Rheum, Misrneti fetroation, Whiles, Chlorosis, Liver Com plaints, Chronic Headaches, Rheumfctism Inierniitleul Fevers, Pimples on the Face' &c, In cases of General Debility, whether th result of acute di-ease, or of the continued diminution of nervous and muscular energy fiom chronic complaints, one trial of thi restorative has proved successful to an ex tent which no description nor written attes tation would render credible. Invalids so long bed-ridden as to have become forot ten in their own neighborhoods, have sud denly re-appeared in the busy world as if justice returned from protracted travel in a distant laud. Some Very signal instances of ihii kind are attested of female Sufierers, emaciated victims of apparent marasmus, sanguineous exhalation, critical change and that complication oi nervous an I dys peptic aversion to air and :xercie lor which the. physician has ho name. In Nervous Affections of all kinds, and for reasons familiar lo medical men, the operation of this preparation of iron must necessarily be falutary, for, unlike the old oxides, it is vigorously tonic, without being exciting and overheating; and sjently, reg ularly aperient, even ii the rnoi-t obstinate ca-es of co-tiveiies without ever being a gastric purgative, orindictiug a disagreeabid sensation. It is this latter propery, among others, which makes i. so remarkably effectual and permanent a remedy for Piles, upon which it also appears to exert a dislmci and speci fic action, by dispersing the local tendency which forms them. v.. ri. : . -i i . .. cao ' ;iu' ,e 'o of lhe,e ChuZ . . , . . In ihe local pains, os of flesh and strength, deblitatin2 cough, and remittent hectic, which generally indicate Incipient I Consumption, this remedy has allayed the i alarm of friends and physicians, in ceveral very gratilying and iiiere-ting ins'a'ices. I In Scrofulous Tubercirosis. this medical led iron ha-i had for more than the good effect of the most cautiou.-ly balanced pre parations ol iodine, without any ol their weil known liabilities. The attention of females cannot be too confidently invited to this remedy and re storation, in the cases peculiarly affecting tfiem. in Rheumatism, both chronic and inflavi matory in the lat'.er, however, more deci dedly it has been invariably well reported boih a- alleviating pain and reducing lUa se!iingi and stiffness ol the joints and muc!e.
