Robbery. The office of ihe old Railroad,
West Chester, was broken into last
Thursday night, and robbed ol a sma i a-
mount ol money. The Uiseves eniereu me
building in the rear, broke the doors, and
locks off ihe desks, and attempted to get in
to ihe large iron safe, bui did not succeed.
The Safe was mannlaciured by EVANS &

STILL ANOTHER ATTEMPT.
October 18th, 1858. Three theives en
tered ihe flouring-mill of Messrs. Dorrace &
Doron, Bristol, Pa., and tried all irght to
blow open their Saf, with powder, which
had 250 in cash, but did not succeed in
gelling ii open. Their Salamander Safe was

In Nervous Affections ol all kinds, and
for reasons familiar to medical men, the
operation of this prepara'ion of iron must
necessarily be saiu'ury, for, ur like ihe old
oxides, it is vigorously tonic, without being
exciting and overheating; and gently, reg
ularly aperient, even in Ihu cioM obstinate
ca?es of co-tiveness without ever being a
gastric puralite, or indicting a disagreeable
tensaiicn.
It is this latter proper y, among others,
which makes it so remarkably efiVctualand
permanent a remedy for Piles, upon which
