OSWEGO STARCH.
(FOR THE LAUNDRY.) '
II AS established a greater celebrity than
has ever been obtained by any othei
Starch.
This has been the, result of its marked su
periority in quality, and its invariable uni
formity.
The public may be assured of the conlinu-
I ance of the h gh standard now established.
I The production is over Twenty Tons daily
and the demand has extended throughout the'
whole of the United Slates, and to foieir.
countries. °
Working thus on a very large scale, and
under a rigid system, they are able to secure
a perfect and uniformity in ihcquality inrough
out the year. This is the great Desideratum
in Starch-making, and is realized now for
the first time.
The very best starch Ihahcan bo made, and
no other, is always wanted by consumers
and while this will be supplied to them by
the grocers, us soon as their customers have
learned which is the best, and ak for it
otherwise they would be likely to get that
article on which the largest profit can be
made.
Rlr. Kingsford has 'been engaged in the
manufacture of starch coritinuotisly for the
last 27 years, and during the whole of the
period, the starch made under his supervis
ion has been, beyond any question, the best
in the market. For the first 17 years, he had
the charge ol the works of VVrn. Colgate &
Co., at which period tie invented the process
of the manufacture of corn starch.
fW Askjor Kmgsfbrd's Starch, as the name
Oswego has rneatly been taken by another fae
lory.
T. KINGSFORD & SON'S
, O SUE GO COJ/N STARCH,
(For Puddings, #•<:.,)
Has obtained an equal celebrity with their
Starch for the Laundry. This articlo is per
fectly pure, and is, in every respeot, equal to
the best Ber/nutla Arrnw-Root, besides hav
ing additional qualities which render it inval
uable for the dessert.
Potato blare It has been extensively packed
and sold as Corn Starch, and has given false
impressions to many, as to the real merits of
our Cora Starch.
From its great delicacy and purity, it is
coming also into extensive use as a diet for
infants and invalids.
