BII.LMTER, aged 32 years, 1 month, and 13

The deceaaed was the son of the late
•George Billmyer, and catne to hia death in
tbe following awful manner, while helping
40 raise a sawmill a short distance from his
dwelling.
The limbers of the mill being nearly all
■up and ready to receive the plate, ihe one
tber.d of the building not being stayed on
•which Mr. Billmyer had just ascended to ad
just the plate suddenly fell over, he being on
the under side and crushed him to death
instantly.

In Wilkesbarre on Saturday the 30 of Sep
tember last, Hon. LUTHER KIDDER, aged a
4>out 50 years.
Judge Kidder was a man whose energy
and labor made him all he was—a man of
learning, eminence and honor. Unwearied
diligence and uncorruptible fidelity gained
him a high position at a bar which included
much of the beat talent in the state. He
soon obtained a large and lucrative practice
in his profession which give hitn a compe
tence and independence through life. Borne
years ago he was elected to Ihe Senate from
this-district, and afterwards received from
Governor Shunk the appointment of Presi-
Judge in the Schuylkill district. When he
went back te U'ißcasbarre he was welcomed
tiy hundreds of bis old friend*, who clung
to him until ffie hour of bia death.
In Bloomsburg on Wednesday October the
4th SARAH ALICE, infant daughter of Bernard
Kuperl surviving its mother only about four
week*.
