from the very jaws of the dcstioyer, through the
agency of that most potent of all medicines,
DR. CULLERS INDIAN VEGETABLE
PANACEA.
' Dr Cullcn's Paftacea Is the only cirtnin care

purifying medicine.
So with Christiana Sands—her cure of Scrof
ulous sore throat was quite as extraordinary us
■Mr. Brooks', when we reflect that from the dis
ease hor tea or cufl'ec would frequently pass out
of liar cors, when attempting to drink, [Sec

The people are beginning to understand, too,
that the various Syrups of Sari aparilla are little
belter than molasses, and that it is madness to
throw awny money on articles which, under the
most favorable circumstances, do not produce
any impression on the system ulitil several gnl
ous have been swallowed. One bottle of Br.
Cullcn's Panacea seldom fails to produce con
viction in the minds of pali'eiits that a radical
cure is certain.
ThushufO, [lO ncccssniy.an ally fo medi
cine.] springs up at the outset, and the patient
is cured before any other preparation could' have
made the slightest impression upon tlie disease T
In fact, the twelve ounce bottles of Di. Cul
lcn's Panacea, compared with the pint and quart
bottles of other purifiers, are valuable aliout in
tho proportion of gold to cnppei. Those who
woiilc profcr a penny to a half eaglo, on account
of its size, would make a poor selection tr> soy
the least.
Barsaparilla a good purifier ? Br. Cullcn's
Panacea contains its oxtract in its most concen
trated form. Added to this are other extracts,
more active and powciful, and which effect in
combination with tho Sarsapnrilln, what the lat
ter article, or combined with the most powerful
poisons, cannot alone accomplish.
It has cured where everything else had failed
and this in a multitude of cases—not in Europe
or in the moon, (where so many great cures
havo been performed,) but in Philadelphia and
other pafts of the union. And be it distinctly
understood thot we do not obtain our extracts by
"boliug 400 gallons down to one," it being
known to every druggist's apprentice that boiling
dcstioys the essential viitues of in diciual plants
and roots.

From the Upland Union.
We aro as littld disposed as most persons
to encourage appcrils to law or medicine, bur
with all the legerdemain of the first, and the
ignorance arid oiiakery of tho last, appeals
must occasionally be made to both. The
excessive heat and the accompaning pro
ductions ol the season aro already producing
Diarrhea, Dysentery and holcra Infantum,
complaints which if not promptly relieved
produce great debility and frequent death.
From a knowledge of its beneficial effects,
we refer to Dr. Kceler's Cordial and Crrmin
