The tuple from tho pine.
The orange from the glosiy green,

We better love the hardy gilt
Our rugged valet bestow,
To cheer up when the iitnrm shall drift
Our haivi'it fields with mow.
When spring time came with A 'wer and bud
And grumes gtcea and young,
And merry Roblinkj, in the wood.
Like mad musicians lung.

The iobbr erowe away.

In leaves grew green and fair,
And waved in lint midsummer1 a noon

And now with autumn'a moonlit eyes,

Of golden showers of old,
Fair hand? the broken grain shall sift,

PURE FRESH COD LIVER OIL.
Th is new and valuable medicine, now used bv the

Fish for medicinal
Use, expressly for
our sales.
Extract from the London Medical Journal
"C. J. B. William,, M. D., F. R. S , Profes
sor o Medicine in University College, London,
Consulting Physician to the Hospital lor consump
tion, &.c., says : 1 have prescribed the Oil in a
bove four hundred cases of tubercuious disease of
the Limns, in different sUes, which have been
under my care the last two years and a half. In
the large number of cases, 2otj out of 231, its u-e
was followed by marked and unequivocal improv
ment, varying in degree in different cases, Irom
a temporary retardation of the progress of the (lis
cae and a mitigation of distressing symptoms, up
to a more or less complete restoration to apparent
health. ' 1
"The eftV.ct of the Cod Liver Oil in most of these
rases was very remarkable. Even in a lew days
the cough was mitigated, the expectoration di
minished in quantity and opacity, the night sweats
ceased, the pulse became slower, and of better
volume, and the appetite, flesh and strength were
gradually improved.
"In conclusion, I repeat that the pure fresh oil
from the Liver of the Cod is more beneficial in the
treatment of Pulmonarv Consumption than at:v
agent, medicinal, dietetic or regimenal, that has
yet ueen employed."
As we have made arrangements to procure the
Cod liver Oil, fresh from head quailers, it can
now be had chemically pure by the tingle bottle,
or in boxes of one dozen each.
Its wonderful efficacy has induced numrrniis
spurioii imitation. As its success depends en
tirely on its purity, too much rare cannot he used
in procuring it gtutiine.
Every bofle having on it our wriltcn signature,
may be depended upon as genuine.

with notices of it from Medical Journals, will be
