upon the subject says

Mr. Walker's response lo the call ol
the Senate, on the subject i'f finance

In 'Folsom'a Mexico,' printed in New
York in 1842, it is mentioned that a steam
boat ascended the Rio del Norte in 1829,
abave Camargo (201 miles nearly to Ra
veilla, about 300 milei from its mouth,

aubsctibed $14,000 for the erection of a
