It is new a settled point with alt who have used
the Vegetable Persian Pills that they arc pre-emi
nently tho best and most efficacious Family Medicine-
that has yet been used in America. If every
family could bocomo acquainted with their Sover
cign power over disease, they would keep tliem and
bo prepared with a sure remedy to apply on tho firs
appearance of disease, and then how much distress
would be avoided and money saved, as well as the
ves of thousands who aro burned out ot time tiy
celcctine discaso in its first stages, or by not being
in possession of a remedy which they can place de
pendence upon.
The Resurrection, or Persian Pills.
The name of these pills orginated from the cir
cumstance of tho mcdicino being found only in the
ccmctaries of Persia. This vegetable ptoducliou
being of a peculiar kind, led to experiments as to
ita medicinal qualities and utiles. In halt a cen
tury it became an established mcdicino for tho dis
eases of that country. The extract of this singu
lar production was introduced into some parts of E11
ropo in the year 1783, and used by many celebrated
Physicians in curing certain diseases, where all oth
er medicine has been used in vain. Early in the
car 1792, tho extract was combined with a certain
cgctablo medicino imported from Dura Baca, in
tho East Indies, and formed into Pills. Tho admir
able effect of this compound upon tho human sys
tem, led physiicans and families into its general
use. Their long established character their univcr-
al and healing virtues, tho detergent and cleansing
qualities of their specific action upon the glandul.ir
part of tho system, are audi as will sustain their re
putation and general use in the American Repub
lic. CERTIFICATES;
I certify that I have, by way of experiment, used
the Hygcan, and most of tho various kinds of Pills,
in my practice, which have borne the highest repute
111 tho public estimation, that have been ottered lor
sale in this vicinity for tho last five ycats, including
those called tho Resurrection or Pcrsain Pills; and
the public may rest assured that hone among tho
wholo catalogue has answered a better purpose, as
an easy and effectual remedy, than the Resurrection
or Persian Pills, in most cases of disease.

TO MOTHERS.
Messrs. E. Chase & Co. Gents. Hearing
much said about tho extraordinary effects of the
Resurrection or Persian Pills, upon thoso about to
become mothers, wo were induced to make a trial of
them. My wife was at that time tho mother of five
children, and had suffered tho most tedious and ex
cruciating pains during and after her confinement
f each, she had tried every means and taken
much medicine, but found little or 110 relief. She
commenced taking the Persian Pills about three
months before her confinement (her health being ve
ry poor about this length of time previous) and in a
short time she was enabled by their uso to attend to
the cares ot a mother to her lamily until her con
finement. At the time sho commenced taking tho
Pctsian Pills, and for several weeks pi cvious, she
was afflicted with a diy hard cough, and frequent
severe cramps, which tho use of the Pills entirely
removed before using half a box. It is with the
greatest confidence that we adviso all those about to
become mothers to mako use of the Persian Pills.
All those lhat have taken them in our neighbor
hood have got along in the same ca3y wanner, and
are about tho house in a few days. There does not
appear to be half the danger of other dangers setting
in atter conlmemcnt, where these fills are taken.
Wo unitedly' eay,lct nono neglect taking them, fot
they are in tho reach of tho poor as well as the rich.
Weare truly Ihanklul thattlicieis a remedy which
females can easily procuro which tends to lessen tho
world of suffering, which many of them have to bear,
and perhaps save tile lives of thousands wliich would
otherwise be lost.
