SJft , , rcccive a preference over nil Pills now
in existence:
First- Because they arc composed of Vcgctablo
extracts, free from minerals; and may be taken at
nil tunes with perfect wifely by young arid old, with
, "stnuntfrom occupation, temperate living, r
carol taking cold, v
Second Because they arc composed of such
medidnat extracts, have been employed by all
the most celebrated and respectable Physicians for
more than a century past, in purifying tho lliood
md Animal fluid of the body. .
Thirl Because they may bo employed as a
miul or acti.e purgative, according to tho quantity
Ukcii, and their operation will not be attended with
griping of tho bovvfil, sickness at tho stomach,
prostration of tjio system, &c, ps are produced by
other pills.
Fourth Because thry possess a combined action,
not possessed by any other pills, mixture or prepar
ation whatever. Their first clli?ct is in correcting
all impurities with which tho blood and fluids of
the body may be tifl'cted, and by their gently opera
tive efl'cct, removing such impurities from the sys
tem. Fifth Because they are the terror of Quacks
and Importers, for most persons ore obliged to take
lhe-jSarsaparilla Blood Pills, after taking their vile
and destructive npstrums, to counteract and prevent
their mischievons and baneful effects.
Sixth Because they arc tho only pills in which
jrnysicians uave suiiicicnt confidence to recommend
to their patients, and employ in their practice, as
thoy know they are Anti Quack, Anti Mcrctiral,
Anti Billious as well as a good and safe purgative
anu punlier ot the Ulood and Animal Fluids.
Seventh and last But not the least important,
bo because they are prepared by a regular Apothe
cary and Phvsician, attested ny Drs. Physic, Hor
ner, onapman, rUcwces, James, (Jibson, Jackson,
Coxe, Hare, &c, &c, which alone is sufficient to
tntitle them to great confidence.

It is now a settled point with all who have used
tho Vegetable Persian Pills that they aro pre-eminently
tho host and most efficacious Family Mcdi

The Resurrection, or Persian Pills.
The name of these pills orginatcd from tho cir
cumstance qf the medicine being found only in tho
cenietarips of Persia. This vegetable production
being of a peculiar kind, led to experiments as to
ita medicinal qualities and virtues. In half a cen
tury it be came an established medicino for the dis
eases of that country. The extract of this singu
lar production was introduced into some parts of Eu
rope jn the year 1783, and used by many celebrated
Physicians in curing certain diseases, where all oth
er medicine has been used in vain. Early in tho
year 1702, the extract was combined with n certain
vegetable medicino imported from Dura Baca, in
the East Indies, and formed into Pills. The admir
able effect of this compound upon the human sys
tem, led physiicans and futilities into its general
use. Their long established character their univer
sal and healing virtues, the detergent and cleansing
qualities of their specific action upon the glandular
part of tho system, aro such as will sustain their re
