eases of that country. The extract of this singu
lar production was introduced into somo parts of Eu

er medicine has been used in vain. Early in the
ynar 1"92, tho extract wus combined with a certain
vegetable medicine imported from Dura Baca, in
tho Earl Indies, and formed into PilU. Tho admir
able effect of this compound upon tho human ys
tern, led phymicans and families into its general

of each. She had tried every meana and taken
much medicine, but found little or no relief. She
commenced taking the Persian Pills about three
months before her confinement (her health being ve
ry poor about this length of time previous) mid in n
