Dn. Scamice—Dear Sir :—About two years ago
I was taken with a very troublesgme cough and a
pain' in my breast; seven or eight months' passes
away without my doing anything fur myself. Then
I applied to a physician, who attended me fur
about three months without rendering mo any ser
vice. I also obtained tho advice and treatment of
a physician in ono of our hospitals, and also bad
the advice and treatment of two other physicians,
but all to no purpose. During this long space 01
time I was nearly dead; several times my friend.
came to see me and witness my x t into the spirit.
world. I watt confined to my b. .d two months at
one time. My breething was exceedingly short.—
' Rave up several time all hopes of getting better ;
and as regarding getting well, that was entirely out
of the question. And to think this day lam w.li
and hearty 1 I was advised by some of my friends
to try Dn. Sonericx's Medicines. I accordingly
bought bottle afier bottle, until I reached the ninth ;
then 1 farad a decided change in my cough for the
better, I suffered severely from palpitation of tbr
herrt, and • two weeks after I commenced taking
your medicine this difficulty cawed.
When Itfirst went to Dr. Schenck's office it was
with difficulty that I could get up into his:reception
room, J. waa so weak and so swelled; my skin was
1 1 as sallow as though I had the jaundice; I felt dull,
heavy and sleepless. Dr. Schenek,atterexaminlng
me, said both my lungs were affected, and gave me
but little hope ; but his medicines, in about two
weeks, took right hold of me ; it seemed to go right
through my whole systeui. The Pulmonlo Syrup,
Sea-Weed Tonle aid Mandrake Pills, all took right
hold in the right place. The Pills brought away
great quantities of bile and slime the Syrup loos
ened the matter in my lungs, which came off very
free; the Sea-Weed Tonic pave me an appritite,an d
everything seemed to taste good.
To show what great power the medicines have in
purifying my system, and to show -bow bad I Was
diseased, besides all the bile that passed my bow.
els, and the groat quantities of phlegm and matter
I expectorated, I broke out all over in large bolts,
that would °Patinae to - gather and run for about six
weeks, aril I bad et one time over twenty-five
I have nothing of the kind now, and feel like an
other person altogether. I can sefely say that I
have not enjoyed such health for five years as I dc
now, and cannot praise you and your medicines
enough. May God abundantly bless andpreserve
you! is the sincere desire of one who has been so
