Disease among Hogs.
Of late a fatal disease has broken out among
hSgs in the pens of distillers, in the vicinity of
Easton, which has carried off thousands,—as
high as forty having died in a single night in
one distillery. The disease is also prevalent in
the pens of some of the distillers in our County.
A distiller at Catasauqua lately was deprived of
several hundred thereby, and we arc told that
the Messrs. Edleman have also lost sonic.
