CROPS.
• The Commissioner an Agriculture at Wash-
Ingina, in presenting his Juty report, congratu
lates the farming community upon the flauer
ing prospect which all the great crops of the
country present - The wheat crop, just har
vested, is moss excellent, both in quality and
suanuty, and the corn crop promisee to be a
fttli Mery altbniteh in some lootlities in the
West. where the drought of Juno him oltended
into July; it may not be so good.
.Wheel end Battey —These crops have been
secured in excellent condition. Local injuries
oat, tigt yet Ii the equal extent. Their thresh
ing is. now being done, which will disalose
some other injuries, but there is no doubt that
these crops are the largest ever produced in
the loyallitates.

Western, but once. The first cutting was a
