BALTIMOREI, March 19, 1868.
The safe of the Adams Express Company was robbed
on Wednesday night between Baltimore and /lards
burg. It contained various sums of money in currency
and gold, a large number of United States certificates
of indebtedness, United States five.twenty bonds, and
checks of the United States Treasurer on the Assistant
Treasurer of New York, payable to the order of the
Adams Express Company. A reward of Five Thousand
Dollars is oared by the Company. The public are re
ferred to the listof the numbers of the bonds and cer
tificates published by the Company, and are cautioned
not to negotiate any of them :
