With the Compouid Concentrated Fluid Extract of
VALUABLE MEDICINAL ROOT§ AND HOB;

mercy Assistant Physician Blackwell's Island Hos.
pitala, late Medical Inspector New York

Gov. Edward D. Morgan.
CONSTITUTION LIFE SYRUP
lies PRODUCED
A REVOLUTION IN MEDICINE.
What may seem almost incredible, is, that many dis
eases hitherto considered hopelessly incurable are fre
quently cured in a few days or weeks, and we cheerfully
invite the investigations of the liberal minded and scien
tido to cures which have no parallel at the present day.
Our medicine is peculiar ; by it the seat or any disease
Is directly reached, and the equilibrium restored
Those who have suffered long from painful and obriti
nate diseases, those who bare vainly sought relief from
advertised medicines, those who cdnnot be cured by other
physicians—
JIBE INVITED TO USE co.yrriluvoN LIFE SYRUP.
During the past live years we have contended With ob
stacles and overcome opposition as herculean as were ever
encountered by any Reformers.
RAPIDITY OF CURE'
Some say, "Your cures are LOO quick," while others
doubt their permanence, and think that disease can only
be cured by the "slow recuperative process of Natur4."
This Is our reply:
In health, the body, like a well-balanced scale, is in a
state of Equilibrium. But when from any cause down
goes ono side of the scale, we have the effects of disease.
What Is requisite is, to restore the normal balance of the
scale.
CONSTITUTION LITE SYRUP,
A positive and specific remedy for all diseases originating
from an IMPURE STATE OF TEE BLOOD, and for all
(hereditary) DISEASES transmitted from PARENT TO
CHILD.
PARALYSIS.
Hemiplegia. Paresis. Paraplegia. Paralysis Agitans.
It is so universally admitted that Constitution Life Syrup
Is the only effective means of restoration in the various
forms of Paralysis, that we need not reiterate that it is
emphatically the Great Life Giving Power.

alleviated—enormous swellings are reduced. ' Cases,
chronic or vicarious, of 20 or 30 years' standing, bare
been cured by us.
NERVOUSNESS.
Nervous Debility. Shattered Nerves. St. Vitus' Dance.
Loss of Power. Confusion of Thoughts. Epilepsy.
Thousands who have suffered for years will bless the day

ELECTRICITY.
TIES. W METH and MAKER, Eclectic
and Electropathic physicians, respectfully offer
their professional services in all the various branches of
the profession, for the treatment of all acute and chronic
fbrms of disease.
The remedial means they employ in the treatment of
disease consist of Magnetism, Galyanism, Electra:Magnet
ism, the Swedish method of Localized movement cure, a
few Eclectic medicines when deemed necessary, and in
fact all the natural curative agents that may successfully
be brought to bear upon the disease. •
They do not wish to be understood as arrogating to
themselves any superiority of professional skill, but they
believe the remedies they employ In the treatment of dis
ease far superior to those generally employed byphys ici Ems,
from the fact that they act In perfect harmony with tip
laws governing and controlling the human system. To
this, and the fact that they confine themselves to no par
ticalar yaw or system, they attribute their success
controlling disease.
The principal agent they employ in the treatment of
disease, namely, Electricity, IS an agent wonderful in its
phenomena and powerful in Its effects for good or Ell. It
is an ever present, all-pervrding principle, governing all
things, from rolling worlds down to the invisible particles
of gasseaus matter. We see it in the lightning's dash and
hear the manifestations of its power in the muttering
thunder. It is the cause of all 'decomposition, recompo
sition and transformation. It excites all motion. It is the
exciting cause of life, growth, decay and death. It
causes secretion, excretion, digestion. It lays hold of the
crude food in the stomach, converts it into a state of flu
idity, transmutes it into arterial blood, and sends it on its
important office of supplying nutriment according to the
necessities of the body. It is the nerve vital fluid, the
groat agent through which the mind acts upon the bodys
It is the cause of all causes except the first great cause
the Infinite Kind which created it and brought it into use
These may appear like mere assertions, but they as.
facts admitting of strong and irresistible probf. Is it then,
to be wondered at that an agent so wonderful In its phe.
nomena, so powerful in its manifestations and so intimate
ly connected with all the operations of the human sys
tem. should be almost absolute in its power of controlling
disease? Certainly not. It is a natural sequence and
follows as surely as day follows night.
Among the disuses which are found to yield readily to
Electricity, in conjunction with proper adjunct treatment,
may so mentioned the following; Incipient Consumption,
Paralysis, Elpiliptic, Hysteric and other Convulsions;
Neuralgia,. in its worst forms, Rhuematism, inflammatory
and chronic; altdiseases of the nervous system; Dyspep
sia cured in a few treatments; all diseases of the urinary
and genital organs; Female Diseases, Asthma, Piles and
Prolapsus Ani; Amaurosis and all kindred affections of
the eye; Auretus, Strictures, all skin diseases, &n

Lungs, Stomach or Bowels—those terrible disorders
arising from the Solitary Habits of Yonth—those secret
and solitary practices more fatal to their victims than the
song of Syrens to the Mariners of Ulysses, blighting their
most brilliant hopes or anticipation; rendering marriage,
dsC., impossible.
YOUNG MEN
Especially, who have become the victims of Solitary Vice,
that dreadful and destructive habit which annually sweeps
to an untimely grave thousands of Young Men of the
mostoncalted talents and brilliant intellect, who might
otherwise have entranced listening Senates with the thun-
ders of eloquence or waked to ectasy the living lyre, may
call with full confidence.
MARRIAGE
Married persons, or Young Men contemplating marriage,
being aware of physical weakness, organic debility, defor
mities, &a., speedily cured.
He who places himself under the care of Dr. J. may re!
liglously confide in his honor as a gentleman, and confi
dently rely upon his skill as a Physician.
ORGANIC) WEAKNESS
mmediately cured, and full vigor restored.
This distressing affection—which renders life miserable
and marriage impossible—is the penalty paid by the vic
tims of improper 'indalgence. Young persons are too apt
to commit excesses from not being aware of the dreadful
Consequences that may ensue. Now, who that under
stands the subject will pretend to deny that the power of
procreation is lost sooner by those falling into improper
habits than by the prudent Besides being deprived the
pleasures of healthy *Miming, the most serious and de
structive symptoms to both body and mind arise.
The system becomes deranged, the physical and . mental
Pi:motions weakened, loss of procreative power, nervous
irritability, dyspepsia:, palpitation of the heart, indigestion,
constitutional debility, a wasting of the frame, cough, con
sumption, decay and death.
