say let no man doubt, when a single bottle has boon
known to cure diSeases which the best medical. talent in
this country has (Med to relieve.
'A remedy possessing the virtues of Constitution Water
cannot be classed uudor "quack" preparations, silt
now used by the moat scientific practitioners in this city.
It is only second class physicians that cry down popular
remedies, while the better skated make use of every,
means to accomplish a cure; and the success of the pity-.

enables him to produce a cure, while othore fail in the, at.

give Constitution Water,a fair trfal—We mean you who
are under '6ollle arvizaistes care than year to year, and we
particularly allude to ladies who are corucantly re.:zorting
to local treatment ; and all sorts of local applications for
diseases, with as much Chance of sacrum as there would
be from local application:. to the throat for diseases of the
brain.
We have been always careful to Use language in our

whose diseases no mention has boon made, that we hare
come to the conclusion that if the remedy is capable of
producing a cure, no matter what the disease , may be, lt
should be made known. Thy medicine is pet up fee the
public, and there should be no exceptions.
We would say, Constitution Water is not like a gilded
pill, made co suit the eye and taste; it is a medicine iu
every sense of the term, placed in the hands of the pee
pie ler their relief, and if taken according to the, direc
tions it will, in every case, produce a radical cure. We
would say that the directions in regard to diet, eta, be
late only to the disease under which they occur.
DIABETES •
(a a disease of the Stomach and liver, acting through the
kidneys, and is, without doubt, the most obstinate disettse,
except consumption, that affects the human constitution
We hare no space foTdiscuming causes, but will suite that
the effect of the disease is the conversion of the statchy
principle (or Vegetable portion of the food) into sugar,
which stimulates the kidneys to an excessive secretion of
water. Many persons suffer from this disease who are
Ignorant of it; that is, they pass large quantities during
the day, and are obliged to get up from one to fifteen or
twenty tunes during the night. No notice is taken of it
until their attention is called to the largo discharge of
water, and often wheu it is so far advanced as to be beyond
the control of ordinary comedies. Another symptom is
thegTeat thirst, which, when tho disease is fully estali.
lished, is intolerable—/he puttied drunks constantfy without
being salisfitd; also dryness of the mouth, cracking of the
lips, a sweet breath, in the more advanced cases, and
tlnaily loss of appetite, emaciation, and the patient gradu
al), tusks from exhaustion
CoNSTITCTION WATIIR is, without doubt, the only known

it is a specific as we hare that opium will ()mince ale*
