RE SEIriE CORPS.—We are happy to announce that Mayor Roumfort has taken hold-'of our suggestions in reference to the reception of the Reserve Corps, and that. His Honor is moving in real earnest to make the 'arrival of the remnant of that gallant body of men, at once worthy of the,service which they have rendered and in keeping with the character of the State Capital. While MayOr Roumfort is thus engaged, conferring with the State au thorities and maturing his plans tor this re ception, it would be well for the Fire Depart ment to hold meetings of its respective or ganizations, for the different civic societies to do the same, for the mustered opt volunteer now in the city, and for the military authori ties to consult, and then refer the proceedings to the Mayor, so that he may be able, in con junction with committees to be appointed, to fix the necessary arrangements-and secure the reception in all proper ways of the Reserves. On no consideration-must this welcome fail to be extended.
