We attempted yesterday morning to give our
readers an idea of the condition of the camps
and public grounds in the-city, and deemed
that the account we then wrote and printed
would send our readers some information on
the Auden in the State - Capital. But all
that we wrote butt evening would fail in
coming-any thing like near a proper estimate of
the actual condition of affairs yesterday and !set
night. From early dawn - until the small hours
of the night, the trains on the different rail
roads • had- been`arming with their patriotic
