well since then Ull last Saturday, while engaged in house
cleaning, she took cold, had pain In her beck, felt cold,

gan Ito Swell, which was followed by swelling of the
knee joints and of the bands. She has now dull
pain In her ehouldens, and her knuckles are very tender,
red ind palatal; both halms are affected., bet the sight
Is must so. This, then, is a case of acute rheumatism, or,
as it is new fashionably called, rheumatic lever. It ls a
well romaraed typical ease. tiro will carefully watch the
case, and trout lime to time call your attention to the vari
ous symptoms which present themselves. MY chief object

remedy which has recently been. recommended in the

mendatory testimonials respecting it have appeared In

are bound to give It a trial.

his skin, at present dry, though there has been much
