The following is a COMPARATIVE STATEMENT of the valuation of Real
Estate in Dauphin County of 1858, and its present valuation as reported by the
Aisessors for the year 1862, returned in December,-1861, with the increase, and
decrease per cent., exoeptingthe townships of Swatara and Susquehanna, and the
six City Wards, which are compared with the valuation of 1861, those Districts
having been to some extent remodeled, by the incorrwrationof Harrisburg into a
city, since the year 1859 :
