falling off the top of my head and threatening to make

In this unpleasant predicament, I was induced to try
'Wood's Hair Restorative, mainly to arrest the falling

hair could over be restored to Its original color except
from dyes. I was, however, greatly surprised to find
after the use at two bottles only, that not only was the
falling off arrested, bat the color was restored to the gray
hairs and sensibility-to the scalp,•and dandruff ceased to
form on my head, very much to the gratification of my
wile, et whose solicitation I was induced to try it.
For this, amoug the many obligations I owe to her sex,
strongly recommend all husbands who value the ad

Dr. J. C. AYES . : Sir; I cheerfully comply with the re

I have realized with your Sarsaparilla. •
I have cured with it, in my practice, most of the com
plaints for which it is recemmended, and have found its
effects truly wonderful In the cure of Veneral and Mer
curial Diseases. One of my, patients had Syphilida ulcers
his-throat, widen were consuming his palate and the
top of his mouth. Your Sarsaparilla, steadily taken,
cured him in five week. Another was attacked by sec
ondary symptoms in his nose, and the ulceration had eat
en away a.considerable part of It, so that I believe the
disorder would soon reach his brain and kill hint. But it
yielded to my administration of your Sarsaparilla: the
ulcers healed, and he is well again, not of course without
some disfiguration to his face. A woman who had been
treated for the mine disorder by mercury was . sulifer ink
iroin this poison in her hones. they had become so
sensitive to. the weather that on a damp day she guttered
excruciating nain in her joints and boost. She, too, was

with it have net surprised me.

Few are the communities, or even fairehea, among them

MAY 19, 1860;-;—Ellea S., 'est. 28; single, never was very

and subsegenty from a relapse far four more. She has been
well since then till last Satur day, while engaged in house

well reinaried typical case We will carefully watch the
case, and from time to, time call your attention to the vast-
OCIS symptoms which present themselves. My chief object
in bridging her before you now, is to call attention to a
remedy which. has recently been recommended in the
treatment of rheumatism. lin ianpropy/ amine. Dr.
Awenarius, Of St. Petersburg, recommends it in the
highest terms, having deriveu great oeaellt from its use
in 22,,50 cases which came under his care. Various com

our journaLsvand 1- propose therefore to give it another •
trial. I must c.cafess Ism always incredulous as to the
worth of new remedies, Which are vaunted as specifies ;
