I award it to you cheerlury, because I think it due.—
My age is aboat 50 years ; the color it my heir auburn

of these uisagraeabilit.s increased wait time, and about
four months since a fourth was added to them, by hair
falling off the top of my head nod threatening to make
me bald.
In this unpleasant predicament, I was induced to try
Wood's Hair Resto.ative, mainly to arrest the falling
off of my hair, for 1 had realty no expectation that gray
hair could ever be restored to its original color excep.
from dyes. I was, however, greatly surprised to find
after the use of two boltles only, that not only was the
falling oil arrested, but the color was restored to the gray
hairs and sensibility to the scalp, and dandruff ceased to
form on my head, very mucn to the gratification of my
wire, at whose solicitation 1 was induced to try it.
For this, among the many obligations I owe to her sex,
I strongly recommend all husbands who value the ,d
-miration of their wovis to profit by my example, and
use it if growing gray ur getting bald.

T. C. AYES & Co., Gents : I lee] it my duty to acknowl

Inherited a Scrofulsus infectioo, I have suffered from it
in various ways for years. Sometimes it burst out in
Ulcers on my hands and arms ; sometimes turned in
ward and distressed me at the stomach. Two years ago
it broke out on my head and covered my scalp and ears
with one sore, whieh was painful and loathsome beyond
description I tried many medicines and several physi
cians, but without much relief from any thing. In fact,
the disorder grew worse. At length I was rejoiced to
read in the Gospel Messenger that you bad prepared an
..lternative (Sarsaparilla,) for I knew irom your rep.
utation that any ming you mace must be good. I sent
to Cincinnati and got it, and used it till it cured me. 1
took it, as you advise, In small doses of a teaspoonful
over a month, and used almost three bottles. New and
healthy skn soon began to form under the scab, which
after a while fell offmy skin is now clear, and know by
my feelings that the disease has gone from my system.
You oin well believe that I feet what I am saying when
I tell you, that I bold you to be sae of the apostles of the
age, and remain ever gratefully. Yours,

Dr. J. C. AYES : Sir, I cheerfully comply with the re

cured him in five week. Another was attacked by sec

disorder would soon reach his brain and kill Olin. But it
yielded to my atheiaistratiOu of your Sarsaparilla: the

Holland Bitters
DYSPEPSIA,
Liver Complaint, Fever and Ague, &c
Tun successful introduction and nse of this cele
brated bentedy had been the signal for a literal flood
of compounds called "Bitters," offered in various
forms, from a quart bottle to a five-gallon keg, until
this word "Bitters" is but another name for "grog,"
or some %illations whiskey mixture.
But the really great relief derived from the minute
dose, ono teaspoonful, of our medicine,
BCERHAVE'S HOLLAND BITTERS,
and th,; entire ahsence of after prostration , has este
bli-hed for it a reputation which the host oeimitations
and counterfeits have failed to undermine. It is posi
lively a vegetable preparation, with barely aufficieut
pure spirits to preserve it.
But one size of the genuine, (Half-Pint Bottles,)
price ONE DOLLAR,-
I t is a medicine of iongetried efficacy for Pu7lfying
the Blood, so essential for the foundation of good
health and for correcting disorders of the stomach
awl bowels.
Two or three doses will convince the afflicted of its
salutary affects. The stomach will speedily regain its
strength, a healthy action of the liver, bowels and
k;ineys will soon take place, and renewed health be
the quick result.
