In accordance With the provisions of the
sixth section of the Act passed the 15th of May,
1861, entitled an Act to create h loan and pro•
vide for arming the State, the Governor, Cum
mander-in-chiet, makes the following rules and
regulations relating to the organized Statt
the military force of this Commonwealth now
or hereafter to be called into the service et this
State or the United States.
REGULATIONS.
I. The commander of the regiment will ap•
point the Adjutant from the subalterns of toe
regiment. he will also appoint the nou-cula
tuissiuned stall of the regiment. lle Will
nate the regimental Quarter Master front the
subalterns of the regiment to the Governor
fur approval and appointment.
11. Iu cases of vacancy, the commander of
regiment may make a temporary appointment
of Quarter Master. The commander ut a regi

make a temporary appointment, reporting such
