the blood show a deficiency of the red globules. Ruddy
complexion and a rosy tint of the skin, is always indica

accompanies a diseased organism. Preparations of Ii on
have been given for the purpose of supplying the red
globules, hut we contend that Iron alone, Sulphur
alone, or Phosphorus alone, will not meet the defi

su. these elements is necessary to restore the blood to its
normal standard. This point, never before attained, has
been reached in the Blood Food, end its discovery

110rHaenease is the favorite sign by which nature
makes known any deviation whatever from the natural
state of the brain, and viewed in this light it may be
looked on as a safeguard intended to give notice of disease
which might otherwise escape attention, tilt too late to be
remedies; and its indications should nev, r be neglected..
Headacht a may be classifiea under two names, viz :
Symptomatic and Idiopathic Symptomatic Headache Is
exceedingly common and is the mecursor of a great va
riety of eiseases, among which are Apoplexy, trout,
Ilheumatisrn and all febrile d:seases. Is its nervous
form it is sympathetic of disease of the stomach consti
tuting sick headache, of hepatic disease constituting bil
lions headache, td' worms, constipation and other disor
ders of the boVrels, as well as renal and uterine affect
ions. Diseases of the heart are very frequently attend
ed w!th liesdaches, Anfemia and plethora are also affec
tons which frequently occasion headache. Idiopathic
Headache is also very common, being usually distin
guished by the name of nervous headache, sometimes
coming on suddenly in a state of apparently sound health
and prostrating at once the mental and physical energies.
and in other instances it comes on slowly, heralded by
depression of spirits or acerbity of temper. In most in
stances it con,. son slowly, heralded by depression of
spirits or acerbity of temper. lu most instances the psis
is in the front of the head, over one' or bolt eyes, and
sometimes p. evoking vomiting; under this class may also
be named Neuralgia.
For the treatment of elthar class of headache the Ce
phalic Pills have been found a sure and safe remedy, re
lieving the moat acute pins in a lew minutes, and by its
übtile rower eradicating the diseases of which Head
ache is the unerring index.

Among the lighter evils of which costiveness is the usual

this alarming symptom. Not unfrequintly the diseases
named originate in C netipation, but take on an inde

early stage. From all these considerations it hallows that
the disorder should receive immediate attention when
ever it occurs, and no person should neglect to get a tax
