Pam 0..5. WOOD: Dear Mr :—ln the latter part of the
year 1852, while attending the Mate and National Law
School of the State of New York, my hair, from a cause
unknown to me, commenced falling of very rapidly, so
that the short space of six months, the whole upper
part of my scalp was almost entirely her, ft of its corar
ink, and much of the remaining portion upon the side
and back part of my head shortly alter became gray, so
that you will not be surprised when I tell you that upon
my return to the State of Indiana, my mere casual ac
quaintar nes were not so much at a loss to discover the
cause of the change in my appearance, as my more intl.
male acquaintances were to recognize me at all
I at once made appliCation to the most skillful physi

them that my hair could again be restored, L was forced
to become reconciled to my fate, until, fortunately, in Ii e
latter part of. the year 1857, your Restorative was re
commended to me by a druggist, as being the most re
liable Bair Restorative in use. I tried one bottle, and
found to my great satisfaction that it was producing the
desired effect. Since that time, I have used seven dol.

makes known any deviation whatever from the natural
state of the brain, and viewed in this light it may be
looked on as a safeguard intended to give notice of disease
which might otherwise escape attention, till too late to be
remedied; and its indications should never be neglected.
Headaches may be classified under two names, viz :
Symptomatic and Idiopathic. Symptomatic Headache is
exceedingly common Laidig the precursor of a great va
riety of 'diseases, among which are Apoplexy, Gout,
Rheumatism and all febrile diseases. In its nervous
form it is sympathetic of disease of the stomach consti
tuting sick headache, of hepatic disease constituting bff
lions headache, of worms, constipation and other disor
ders of the bowels, as well as renal and uterine affect
ions. Diseases of the heart are very frequently attend
ed with Headaches, Amami* and plethora are also affec
tons which frequently occasion headache. Idiopathic
Headache is also very common, being usually distin
guished by tne name of nervous iteadache, sometimes
coming on suddenly in a state of apparently sound health
and prostrating at once the mental and physical energies,
and in other instances it comes on slowly, heralded by
depression of spirits or acerbity of temper. In most in
stances it comes on slowly, heralded by depression of
spirits or acerbity of temper. In most instances the pain
is in the front or use head, over one or both eyes, and
sometimes provoking vomiting; under this class may also
be named Neuralgia.
For the treatment of either class of Headache the Ce
phalic Pills have been found a sure and safe remedy, re
lieving the most acute pains in a few minutes, and by its
sub tile power eradicating the diseases of which Head
ache is the unerring index.
