The LONDON TJMPS, in speaking of this great moral drama, mentions a fact to which the Provincial Press of Great Britian and Ireland has given cimfirmation.- .• A clerk, who had absconded from Liverpool Atli' £2,- 600 the property of his employers, and after visiting many places arrived at Birmingham, about five o'clock, and after taking some refresiuments, went to the theatre, to while away an hour. As it happenad, the piece which was being performed on the occasion of this visit was THE TICKET-OF-LEAVE-MAY, and the guilty man seems to have- drawn a moral from the representation; for when the scene in the interview between Hackshaw, the detective, and the " Ticket-of Leave Han" took place, Parker, the clerk, became so af fected that he went out of the theatre, got throe envel opes, and. sant £1,500 back to his employers.
