dread archer, frankly told me they could do no
more for me and advised me to see a clergyman
and to make such disposition of my limited
funds as best suited me. An acquaintance who
visited me at the hospital, Mr. Frederick Stein
bron, of Sixth below Arch street, advised me,
es a forlorn hope, to try your bitters, and kind
ly procured a bottle. From the time I com
menced taking them the gloomy shadow of
death receded, and I am now, thank God for it,
getting better. Though I have taken bat two
bottlea, I have gained ten pounds, and I feel
sanguine of being permitted to rejoin my wife
